How the HELL do you write your own reference letter without sounding like an egoistical idiot, OR a meek measly little mouse?? Bah. Is there like a good template or format out there for this?? I've written about 5 lines and stopped cos I started feeling really really stupid. Maybe I should go take a nap and sleep off the 8.99 Indian lunch buffet instead.

In other things, I'm also trying to figure out how to organise the shoe hell hole at the entrance of our apartment when there's no space for a shoe cabinet and not much space on the nearby wall to hammer any shoe racks on anyway...

Aa, sou ka na...

I suppose one could do it in two stages - in the first draft, remember that there is no praise too self-aggrandizing, no achievement too trivial to be mentioned.

And then give it a day's rest and come back to give it a sort of polished humililty? :D

But I am not qualified to advise, since I have never done such things the right way (if there is one). One recalls a pep talk in a fast food joint some months ago... *cue flashback*.

Good luck on it, though!

P.S.

I am trying to do the two stage thing actually .. but it still feels stupid! And I wanted to do the door thing but it doesn't seem all that stable .. and there really isn't enough wall space for that either .. oh well, I guess it'll have to be a shoe hell pit still for now :)

Well, you will manage to do it, somehow, I am sure :D

Yeah, the one thing with hanging anything on doors is that if it's too heavy, it will warp your hinges ---> squeaking or worse.

Shoe hell pits have their own charm :)

I do agree that writing self-assessments are the hardest things on earth! think fmjs' way does sound correct!

Yeah I briefly considered those before .. it seems so cool, but then again, I have visions of shoes falling down in cascades everytime I closed the door ..
